Rural Sports Talent in Focus as Nasriganj Panchayat Clubs Review Training and Opportunities

A sports club review meeting at Higher Secondary School, Nasriganj, focused on identifying rural talent, player registration, regular training, competitions and strengthening sports activities across panchayats.

Villages are not short of sporting talent, but identifying promising players and providing them with proper training and suitable platforms remains essential. With this objective, a review meeting of panchayat sports clubs was held on Friday at Higher Secondary School, Nasriganj, on the instructions of the District Sports Officer.

Physical Education Teacher Belal Ahmed said regular sports activities should be organised at the panchayat level and interest in sports should be developed among young people. He said many talents in rural areas remain unnoticed due to a lack of resources and proper guidance.

Through sports clubs in the panchayats, such players will get opportunities for their talent to be identified and for them to receive regular practice and training and participate in competitions.

At the end of the meeting, a decision was taken to make collective efforts to connect young people with sports and strengthen the sports infrastructure at the panchayat level.

Avadh Kumar Chaudhary, Pritesh Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
